A new approach to the notebook. The Touch Book ($300; May 09) is mixing up the notebook game its an always-on notebook that utilizes a detachable keyboard and a 3D touchscreen. It runs an open source Touch Book OS, you can also install Google Android, Ubuntu, Angstrom, and Windows CE. Sounds dope so far right? Powered by an ARM processor from Texas Instruments, the Touch Book features a 1024 x 600 8.9-inch screen, an 8GB micro SD card for storage, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth, six USB 2.0 ports (both internal and external), and gives you 10 to 15 hours of battery life.
